A lot less than you might think. During your free zero-obligation consultation we want to get to know you, learn about your business or organization, and understand what you want your website to look like and what you need it to do. It does help to come with a general sense of what you like or don't like about your current site if you have one, and any specific goals you have in mind. If you can bring your login credentials and host/registrar information too, that's great, but please don't stress if you don't have any of that yet.

That's pretty much it!  We will handle the rest. There are no wrong answers and nothing you need to have figured out before we meet.

If it feels like a good fit on both ends, we'll offer to put together a detailed proposal outlining the scope of the project, an estimate of hours and costs, and a roadmap for working together. Once you've reviewed and approved that estimate, the real work begins!

After you've paid your initial deposit you'll get access to your client portal, where everything for your new website lives in one place. You can share content and images, review and approve test links, track project progress, manage invoices and billing, and stay in touch with us every step of the way.

Some clients prefer to stay closely involved, collaborating throughout the process. Others prefer to hand things off and check in at key moments. Both approaches work, and we'll follow your lead.

What we do ask is that approvals, communication, and invoicing stay reasonably on track as we go. This helps to keep the project moving smoothly on schedule for everyone.

Whatever you choose, you'll always know where things stand and have the final say before anything goes live!
