Intellectual Property:

For client projects, ownership works as follows:

  • You own the final website and any custom content we create specifically for your project.

  • You own all brand materials, images, and content you provide to us.

  • Ready Sites retains ownership of design templates, code libraries, and reusable tools we develop.

We may display completed client work in our portfolio and marketing materials. If you prefer your project remain confidential, let us know in writing.

Product/Service Information:

Ready Sites offers web design and development services, including custom websites, platform migrations, content refreshes, and monthly maintenance packages.

We provide detailed estimates before work begins, but these are projections, not fixed quotes. Actual costs may be higher or lower depending on project complexity and scope changes.

Project timelines are estimates and depend on client feedback, content delivery, and approval timelines. Delays in client responses or material provision will extend project timelines accordingly.

Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback, content, approvals, and access to necessary accounts or platforms.

Standard rates are $50 per hour for design and development work. Monthly maintenance packages are $250 for up to 10 hours of support, with additional hours billed at $25 per hour.

Design and development projects require a 50% deposit before work begins. Remaining balance is invoiced monthly based on hours worked and due upon receipt. Final payment is due before site launch.

Payments are processed through PayPal and Wix Payments. Ready Sites does not store or have access to your complete payment information. All payment data is handled securely by PayPal and Wix.

Client portal access is provided through Kitchen. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your portal login credentials.

Client Agreements and Project Terms:

Every project begins with a consultation and detailed estimate. Once you approve the estimate and pay the deposit, we will provide a formal project agreement outlining deliverables, timeline, and terms specific to your project.

If project scope changes during development, we will provide an updated estimate for your approval before proceeding with additional work. All projects include reasonable revisions during development. Major changes or additions beyond the agreed scope will be billed separately.

Clients must review and approve deliverables in a timely manner. Delays in approval extend project timelines and may affect pricing if significant time passes between project phases.

All design and development projects include training on managing your completed website and 30 days of post-launch support for questions or minor adjustments.

Limitation of Liability:

Ready Sites builds all websites to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and ADA best practices. However, we do not guarantee legal compliance, conformance, or freedom from accessibility-related claims. Accessibility laws vary by jurisdiction and are subject to interpretation. Clients are responsible for consulting legal counsel regarding accessibility requirements for their specific business or organization.

We are not liable for issues caused by third-party platforms, services, or integrations, including but not limited to Wix, WordPress, Calendly, Kitchen, PayPal, and others. This includes platform downtime, security breaches, service interruptions, payment processing errors, or data loss.

We are not liable for content, images, or materials provided by clients. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have proper rights and permissions for all materials they provide.

Ready Sites' maximum liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the total amount paid for the specific project in question.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or business interruption.

Clients are responsible for maintaining backups of their website content. Ready Sites is not responsible for data loss.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Clients may cancel projects at any time by providing written notice. Once work has begun, deposits are only refundable up to a pro-rated amount. Clients are responsible for payment of all work completed up to the cancellation date.

Upon project cancellation, Ready Sites will return all content materials in their current state. Incomplete or in-progress work may not be fully functional.

For monthly maintenance packages, clients may cancel at any time with written notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused hours in the current month.

If a client stops payment or abandons a project, Ready Sites retains the right to suspend access to project files and cease work until payment is received.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes arising from these terms or Ready Sites services shall be resolved in the courts of Cass County, Minnesota.
